The new Caps-Twist cap manufacturing line includes a PVC-free sealing compound.

This type of PVC-free compound does not require the plasticisers normally used to produce PVC caps, which means that there is no need to migrate these plasticisers to the packaged product, especially with products containing fats or oils.

The new production line has a machine for applying the PVC-free sealing compound, which uses a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) to create the sealing gasket.

This machine does not require an oven to polymerise the compound, as it is applied in the form of a ring and moulded after extrusion, leaving the cap fully formed. The production capacity is 500 caps/minute.

Bemasa also produces the Caps-Twist PVP Free cap in the 63 RTS, 66 mm and 77 mm formats, offering a versatile solution adapted to the different needs of the market.

All Caps-Twist PVC Free caps are available for pasteurisation and sterilisation and the inner liners are all BPAni.
